A sitemap-verified comparison of PasteDL and SSSTikTok (ssstik.io): it adds TikTok MP3 audio and an Android APK, PasteDL covers Instagram. Which to pick.
Last updated:
SSSTik.io (often searched as SSSTikTok) is a TikTok specialist with 134 URLs in its public sitemap: a homepage, a TikTok stories downloader, an MP3 audio extractor, an anonymous TikTok viewer and an Android APK, published across 17 language prefixes. It also runs its own comparison page aimed at SnapTik, so it plays this game too.
PasteDL overlaps with it on one page out of five. Instagram is where PasteDL is deep - eight tool pages - while TikTok gets two. The useful question is therefore not which downloads a TikTok video, since both do, but whether you need TikTok audio and an app, or Instagram coverage.

SSSTik.io publishes a dedicated page for saving the sound from a TikTok as an MP3 file. PasteDL has no equivalent anywhere - it saves an available video rendition, with audio when present in that rendition, but does not produce an audio-only file for TikTok or anything else. If the sound is what you came for, this is a real gap on our side.
There is a downloadable APK for Android. PasteDL provides a web interface and no installed app, which is a genuine trade rather than a straight loss: an app can save you the paste step every time, while a web interface needs no app-install permissions. Which side you prefer is personal.
SSSTik.io publishes a page for viewing TikTok videos, stories and profiles without signing in. PasteDL runs an anonymous viewer for Instagram stories but has no TikTok counterpart, so that intent is uncovered on our side.
SSSTik.io publishes no Instagram page in its sitemap - all 134 of its URLs are TikTok, legal pages or language variants of those. PasteDL publishes eight Instagram tools, including separate routes for story downloads and anonymous story viewing. If any of your links start with instagram.com, that is the difference.
PasteDL publishes a dedicated page for viewing and saving an available public TikTok avatar rendition outside the small circle the app shows. The exact size depends on what TikTok serves for that account. SSSTik.io lists no such page.
The flip side of their APK. PasteDL is used from a browser on supported devices, so there is no Android package to sideload, no app installation and no installed PasteDL process that keeps running after the tab closes.
PasteDL ships 21 language versions against 17 language prefixes in the SSSTik.io sitemap, including right-to-left layout for Arabic rather than English text in a mirrored page.
Pick SSSTik.io if you want TikTok audio as an MP3, prefer an Android app to a web page, or want an anonymous viewer for TikTok specifically. Each of those is something PasteDL genuinely does not do.
Pick PasteDL if Instagram is part of your workflow, if you want a dedicated tool for an available public TikTok profile-picture rendition, or if you would rather not install anything. Both are free and neither asks you to log in.
Every row above describes what each site publishes a page for, read from ssstik.io's own public sitemap and page titles on 2026-08-21. That is a deliberate limit: a tool can support a format without publishing a page for it, so "no such page in its sitemap" is what we can verify and is all we claim. We do not test each other's download output, and we do not describe a competitor's file quality. SSSTik.io may add pages after this date - if you spot a row that has gone stale, email support@pastedl.com and we will re-check it.
