PasteDL is built to work without a user account and without asking for your Instagram or TikTok password. This policy explains exactly what limited data is involved when you use the tool, who processes it, and the rights you have over it.

This Privacy Policy applies to the PasteDL website at pastedl.com and its tools for requesting available public Instagram and TikTok media. It does not apply to Instagram, Meta Platforms, TikTok, ByteDance, or any third-party site you reach through a link. PasteDL is an independent, browser-based utility and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those platforms or companies. By using the site you acknowledge the practices described here.
PasteDL does not require an account or ask for your Instagram or TikTok password or session credential. Information you actively provide includes a public platform link or username, which the media backend processes to prepare an available rendition, and any name, email address, and message submitted through the contact form. Contact-form submissions are forwarded to PasteDL's operator through Telegram so the enquiry can be answered. Hosting, CDN, or proxy infrastructure may cache request data or media temporarily, and limited technical logs may be retained as described below. Pasted links are not used to build a personal profile or download library.
Like virtually all websites, our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure processes standard technical request data - IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, language preference and timestamps - in server and edge logs. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, debugging and aggregate traffic measurement. We also store a small NEXT_LOCALE cookie to remember your language choice. We do not sell this information.
PasteDL uses third-party processors governed by their own terms and privacy policies: Cloudflare Turnstile for bot-abuse checks; Telegram to deliver contact-form submissions to PasteDL's operator; Google Analytics 4 for usage and performance measurement; PostHog for product analytics, diagnostics, and configured session replay; hosting and CDN providers that serve and cache pages; and a media backend plus CDN or proxy infrastructure that prepares and may temporarily cache requested public media. Google AdSense for advertising and Google Funding Choices for consent management are active on the site. Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers according to your consent and local law. PasteDL uses a functional cookie for language preference. Google Analytics 4 and PostHog may use cookies or similar identifiers for usage measurement, product analytics, diagnostics, and configured session replay; replay is intended to capture interactions needed to diagnose the site and is subject to the provider configuration. Google AdSense and Google Funding Choices are active on PasteDL. Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers only as permitted by consent choices and local law. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the advertising section explains the controls that apply.
Pasted links are processed to fulfil the request and are not used to build a personal download library. The media backend, CDN, or proxy may cache request data or media temporarily, while technical logs are retained for a limited period for security, abuse prevention, debugging, and operations before rotation or deletion. Contact-form messages are delivered to the operator through Telegram and may remain there until the operator deletes them; they are used to handle the enquiry and related records, while Telegram applies its own retention terms. Google Analytics 4 and PostHog analytics, diagnostics, and session replay data follow the retention configured in those services. We retain data no longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes described here.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the EU/UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA or similar laws - including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold, to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because PasteDL does not maintain user accounts, the personal data we hold is limited (chiefly contact-form submissions and technical logs). To exercise any right - including deletion of a contact-form message you have sent us - email support@pastedl.com with the subject line “Data Request”. We acknowledge requests within 72 hours and aim to complete them within 30 days, in line with the GDPR and CCPA response windows; if we need to verify your identity before acting, we will tell you what is required.
PasteDL is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information through the contact form, contact us and we will delete it.
Because our infrastructure and third-party processors operate globally, technical data may be processed in countries other than your own, including via global CDN edge locations. All pages are served over HTTPS with HSTS, and we apply a Content-Security-Policy and standard security headers. No internet transmission is ever fully secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the limited data involved.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal or regulatory changes; the effective date is shown by the Last updated date on this page. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, PasteDL processes data under two bases. Most automatic processing - server logs, abuse prevention through Turnstile, and aggregate analytics - relies on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning service, balanced against your rights and freedoms. Where you actively submit information, such as through the contact form, processing is based on taking the steps you request to respond to your enquiry. PasteDL does not use your data for profiling or for automated decisions that produce legal effects. You may object to legitimate-interest processing at any time by emailing support@pastedl.com.
PasteDL does not sell personal information for money. Google AdSense and Google Funding Choices are active on PasteDL, and personalised advertising may count as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. California residents may use the consent tool, Google Ad Settings, a supported Global Privacy Control signal, or email support@pastedl.com to opt out. Depending on the applicable configuration, opting out may result in non-personalised ads rather than removing ads. California residents also retain applicable rights to know, delete, and correct. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
PasteDL shows advertising through Google AdSense. Google AdSense may use cookies or similar identifiers to select and measure ads, subject to consent and local law, and Google Funding Choices may present and store consent choices in supported regions through Google Consent Mode. You can reopen the consent tool, use Google Ad Settings, visit industry opt-out pages, or block cookies in your browser. PasteDL does not intentionally provide advertisers with contact-form messages or pasted links.
