PasteDL is a free web downloader for available public Instagram and TikTok media. Use it only for content you own or have permission or another lawful authorisation to download. There is no platform login, PasteDL account signup, browser extension, or APK to install. Submitted links are processed through a media backend and may use CDN or proxy caching. PasteDL does not intentionally add its own watermark and is not affiliated with Instagram, Meta, TikTok, or ByteDance.
Saving a public Instagram or TikTok post you own or are authorised to download used to require either a screen recording (lower quality, interface bars) or handing a platform password to a questionable third-party app. PasteDL launched in 2025 - under its original name, iSaver - to remove both of those compromises, and was renamed PasteDL in 2026. The goal is narrow on purpose: help people save an available rendition of public media they own or are authorised to download, without asking for a platform password or requiring an app or extension. Format, resolution, and audio depend on what the platform makes available, and platform rules, copyright, and local law still apply. Tools that do one thing well, without dark patterns, are rarer than they should be - PasteDL is meant to stay on that side of the line.
PasteDL does not bypass private accounts, follower-only or friends-only stories, Close Friends content, archived posts, or media Instagram or TikTok does not publicly expose. We treat those as hard privacy boundaries - not features we are working on. The site does not show "who viewed your story", does not run unfollower analytics, and does not offer a paid "private profile viewer". Tools that advertise those capabilities misrepresent platform access controls.
PasteDL is free with no daily caps, email gate, waiting room, or signup. PasteDL is funded by advertising: Google AdSense and Google Funding Choices run on the site and operate as described in the Privacy Policy. Google Analytics 4 and PostHog help measure and diagnose the service, while Cloudflare Turnstile checks download requests for abuse. PasteDL does not sell user data or ask for an Instagram or TikTok password; limited technical logs may be kept for security and operations.
PasteDL ships in 21 languages - English, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Telugu, Thai, Turkish and Ukrainian - with full RTL support for Arabic. Every tool page is served as a real localized page, not an English page behind a translation widget.
Use PasteDL only for content you own or have the creator's permission or another lawful authorisation to download. Downloading a file does not transfer copyright, a licence, or any republishing right. The creator or other rights holder keeps those rights, and platform rules, copyright, and local law may restrict downloading or reuse. PasteDL does not ask for your Instagram or TikTok password or session credential. A public link is sent to the media backend, which prepares an available rendition; hosting, CDN, or proxy infrastructure may cache data briefly to provide and protect the service. PasteDL does not intentionally add its own watermark or re-encode media, but the resulting format, resolution, and audio depend on what is available. Platforms and infrastructure providers may process request data under their own policies, and PasteDL keeps limited technical logs for security, abuse prevention, debugging, and operations. The Privacy Policy identifies Google Analytics 4, PostHog, Cloudflare Turnstile, and the advertising services PasteDL uses.
We keep each tool's described capabilities aligned with what Instagram and TikTok actually allow. When a platform changes how a format is served, we update the relevant tool page and its FAQ rather than leave a stale claim, and each page shows a Last updated date so you can see when its information was last reviewed.
