PasteDL is a free, browser-based downloader for public Instagram content — videos, reels, stories, photos, carousels, highlights, profile pictures and full profile snapshots. The site runs entirely in your browser: there is no Instagram login, no account signup, no browser extension to install, no APK to side-load, and no watermark added to any saved file. PasteDL is operated independently and is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Saving a public Instagram post you found inspiring used to require either a screen recording (low quality, ugly UI bars) or handing your Instagram password to a sketchy third-party app. PasteDL launched in 2024 — under its original name, iSaver — to remove both of those compromises, and was renamed PasteDL in 2026. The goal is narrow on purpose: download the public file Instagram already serves, in the original quality, without asking for anything in return. Tools that do one thing well, without dark patterns, are rarer than they should be — PasteDL is meant to stay on that side of the line.
PasteDL does not bypass private accounts, follower-only stories, Close Friends content, archived posts, or any media Instagram does not publicly expose. We treat those as hard privacy boundaries — not features we are working on. The site does not show "who viewed your story", does not run unfollower analytics, and does not offer a paid "private profile viewer". Tools that advertise any of those are misrepresenting how Instagram's access controls work.
PasteDL is free with no daily caps, no email gate, no waiting-room, and no signup. Operating costs are covered by lightweight analytics and Google reCAPTCHA v3 (an invisible bot-abuse check on download requests). We do not sell user data, do not store a per-user download history, and never ask for an Instagram password. See the Privacy Policy for the full data picture.
PasteDL ships in 21 languages — English, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Telugu, Thai, Turkish and Ukrainian — with full RTL support for Arabic. Each tool page is fully translated, not auto-machine-rendered into a wrapper UI.
Downloading a file through PasteDL does not transfer copyright, a licence, or any republishing right. Copyright stays with the original creator. Personal reference is generally acceptable in most jurisdictions; republishing, modifying, monetising or redistributing a downloaded file without the creator's permission is the user's responsibility. When in doubt, ask the creator first.
PasteDL never logs into Instagram or TikTok and never asks for your password, session, or any credential. When you paste a public link, PasteDL requests the same public media endpoint your browser would load if you opened the post while logged out, reads the file the platform already serves, and delivers it to your device at its original resolution — no re-encoding and no re-upload. Nothing about the download is tied to your Instagram or TikTok identity, and no download history is stored. The only third parties involved are Google reCAPTCHA for abuse prevention and privacy-respecting analytics; the media itself is served through our own CDN.
We keep each tool's described capabilities aligned with what Instagram and TikTok actually allow. When a platform changes how a format is served, we update the relevant tool page and its FAQ rather than leave a stale claim, and each page shows a Last updated date so you can see when its information was last reviewed.
