Copy the TikTok link
In the app, tap Share and then Copy link. In a browser, copy the address from the bar. Full links like tiktok.com/@user/video/… work, and so do the short vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com links the Share sheet gives you. For a profile picture you can skip the link and type the @username instead.

Which PasteDL tool do I need for a TikTok link?

Do I need a TikTok account or the TikTok app?
No. PasteDL only reads public TikTok data, so there is nothing to log in to and no app or browser extension to install. It works in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer.
Is there a limit on how many TikTok downloads I can make?
There is no daily cap, queue or paid tier right now. The TikTok tools are free, and PasteDL does not build a personal download library from your requests. It does keep limited technical logs for security, abuse prevention, debugging and operations.
Does the TikTok downloader save videos in HD?
When TikTok serves HD, yes. PasteDL saves the clean version TikTok returns for the post, and for most recent uploads that is HD. Nothing is upscaled, so an older or heavily compressed clip downloads the way it arrived. The TikTok video downloader page explains what affects quality.
Can PasteDL convert a TikTok to MP3?
No. The video tool saves an MP4, and the sound stays inside that file when TikTok includes it. There is no audio-only option on the site. If you need the sound on its own, save the MP4 and convert it with a separate tool. Check who owns the music first, since the audio in a TikTok usually belongs to a rights holder rather than the account that posted it.
Can I save TikTok stories, photos or slideshows?
No. PasteDL has two TikTok tools, one for public video posts and one for public profile pictures, and stories, photo posts and slideshows fall outside both. There is no story tool, and nothing on the site turns an image set into a file. Private accounts are also out of reach, since PasteDL only reads what TikTok already publishes.
Is there a TikTok watermark on the file?
No. Every video download is TikTok's own version without the watermark, so the TikTok logo and @username overlay are not on the file, and PasteDL adds nothing of its own.
